Legal AssistantProxy Legal Search is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for a law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of transactional law experience, with commercial real estate experience preferred. This is a hybrid position. (3 days in office required)Responsibilities:Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegalsPrepare, proofread, and format legal and transactional documentsAssist with commercial real estate transactions, deadlines, and outstanding itemsManage attorney calendars, meetings, travel, and correspondenceOpen new clients and matters and assist with conflict checksMaintain electronic files and document management systemsAssist with billing, time entry, proformas, and expense reportsCommunicate with clients and other professionals as directedHandle confidential information and proactively follow up on outstanding mattersQualifications:3+ years of transactional legal experienceCommercial real estate experience preferredStrong proofreading, organization, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and support busy attorneysExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
